- For anything critical, back it up with a device alarm; a browser tab can be closed by accident or by a crash.

Browsers throttle background tabs, so treat accuracy as best-effort. Keep the tab in front for timing that matters.

Refreshing resets the page. Set up your timers and leave the tab alone while they run.
How many can I run at once?
As many as fit on screen usefully. Beyond a handful they become hard to read at a glance, which defeats the purpose.
