- Always test the printed code with more than one phone before committing to a print run; a code that fails on site is expensive.
Frequently asked questions
Do QR codes expire?
A static code like this one encodes the destination directly and never expires, though the page it points to can. Shortener-based codes die with the shortener.
Can I track scans?
Not with a static code. Point it at a URL carrying campaign parameters — the UTM link builder creates one — and track on your own analytics.
What size should I print it?
Roughly one-tenth of the scanning distance: 2 cm for arm's length, considerably larger for a poster read from across a room.
