Accuracy, limits, and good practice
- No matches in a document that certainly contains the word means the pages are scans; the text is an image and no text search can find it.

- The page numbers reported are file positions, which may differ from the numbers printed on the pages.

Why does it find nothing in my scanned PDF?
Scanned pages hold images, not text. OCR is required to make them searchable, and this tool does not perform it.
Can I search several documents at once?
One document per pass. Merge the files first if you need to search a whole bundle.
Does it support regular expressions?
It matches text directly. For pattern matching, extract the text first and use the regex tester on it.
